How to correctly understand the three certificates of pesticide manufacturers

The "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Pesticide Management" promulgated and implemented on May 18, 1997 stipulate that the country implements a pesticide registration system; the country implements a pesticide production license system; pesticide manufacturers should produce pesticide products in accordance with pesticide product quality standards and technical regulations. Before leaving the factory, it shall undergo a quality inspection and be accompanied by a product quality inspection certificate. That is to say, before domestic pesticides enter the circulation field for commercialization, they must have the "three certificates", one of which is indispensable, and the numbers of the three certificates should be indicated on the label or description. Only pesticide registration certificate is required to import pesticides.

Pesticide manufacturers who do not contain the three certificate numbers beginning with the following English letters such as LS, PD, XK, Q, etc. are often compiled without legal protection, and their quality is questionable.

1. The temporary registration number of the pesticide manufacturer registration certificate starts with LS or WL, such as LS96030 (Nongdile 52.25% EC), WL93614 (Shensha 0.2% aerosol). The official variety registration number starts with PD, PDN, WP, WPN, such as PDI-85 (enemy kill), PDN2-88 (butachlor), WPI-92 (mosquito repellent), etc. If you want to repackage pesticides, you still need to apply for a repackage registration certificate, with a certificate number such as LS981606—Zhejiang 99042.

2. Pesticide manufacturer production license (approval) certificate pesticide production license number format such as XK13-067009, etc. The format of the pesticide production approval document number is HNP33055-C0440, etc.

3. Quality Standard Certificate The quality standards for pesticides in China are divided into three types: national standards, industry standards, and enterprise standards, and their certificate numbers start with GB or Q respectively.
